Michele Castaldo graduated from Conservatorio “G. Rossini” of Pesaro with highest distinction under the guidance of Prof. Giuseppe Di Chiara.
After the graduation, he continued studying with Prof. Di Chiara in Pesaro and with Michele Campanella at the AEMAS (Accademia Europea di Musica e Arti dello Spettacolo) in Naples and at the Hochschule für Musik "Franz Liszt" in Weimar (Germany).
Moreover, he took part in masterclasses with musicians such as Andrej Jasinski, Olaf Laneri, Marco Sollini, Massimiliano Damerini, Bruno Canino.
Mr. Castaldo won many Piano Competition, both in Italy and abroad. He won the first prize at the 10th Biennal International Piano Competition in Rostov (Russia). Thanks to this prize, he was invited to perform at the “College of Arts” and at the Philharmonic Theater of Rostov, playing Tchaikovsky’s piano concerto No. 1 with the Rostov Symphony Orchestra. Moreover, he performed in Saudi Arabia, in Germany (at the Wolfsburg Castle, for the anniversary of the fall of Berlin’s Wall) and in Russia. He also had a tournée in Israel and held concerts in Jerusalem, Tel Aviv, Ramat Gan, Ashkelon and Nazareth.
Mr. Castaldo is also regularly invited to perform in Italy and cooperates with the Philharmonic Orchestra of Region Marche. He played Tchaikovsky’s piano concerto No. 1 with this orchestra at the Auditorium of the Conservatorio “G. Rossini” of Pesaro.
His performances were broadcasted by the Vatican Radio.
