Chiara Esposito - Founder and Artistic Director
Chiara Esposito was born in Milan (Italy) and began to study music at the age of four. In 2003 she was admitted to the Conservatorio "Giuseppe Verdi" in Milan, where she graduated under the guidance of the famous Italian pedagogue Prof. Annibale Rebaudengo. She additionally studied Composition with Prof. Bruno Zanolini and Prof. Vittorio Zago.
In 2008 she won a scholarship to attend the prestigious University Mozarteum in Salzburg with Prof. Claudius Tanski. One year later she was admitted to the Mozarteum University as an official student, where she obtained her Bachelor Degree (2013) and her Master's Degree (2015) in Piano Pedagogy, both with highest distinction. She is currently pursueing a PhD in Musicology at the same University.
Chiara Esposito played as a soloist, as a chamber musician and as an accompanist in many countries. She performed at the Sala Puccini of the "Conservatorio G. Verdi" and Università Popolare in Milan, the Basilica di S. Pietro in Perugia in Italy and at the Academy of Music and Italian Cultural Center in Stockholm (Sweden), Kresge Recital Hall in Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh (USA), Solitär, Wienersaal and Kleines Studium at the Universität Mozarteum in Salzburg and in the Monasterium S. Peter in Salzburg (Austria). In 2011 she held an open air recital in the Summer Festival of the Elba Island (Italy), which was entirely broadcasted by Tirrenia News.
She attended masterclasses with many famous pianists such as Riccardo Risaliti, Peter Takács, Igor Cognolato, Ilana Vered, Arnulf von Arnim, Enrique Graf, Michael Lewin, Vag Papian and Lorna Griffith.
Ms. Esposito also specialized as a vocal coacher for classical singers and actors. In this field she attended Masterclasses with Umberto Finazzi and Enza Ferrari from the Accademia del Teatro alla Scala. In 2012 she took part as an accompanying pianist at the representation of Mozart's Le Nozze di Figaro in Luxembourg.
She cooperated with the Drama Department of the Universität Mozarteum. In this Department she accompanied two workshops of the renowned German musical singer and actress April Hailer. In November 2013 she accompanied the auditions of the graduating actors of Universität Mozarteum and played with them in theaters such as Berlin Ensemble, Residenztheater München, Regensburger Theater, Landestheater Neuss Studiobühne, Nancy Saal in the Badische Staatskapelle Karlsruhe.
In 2016 she was appointed by Universität Mozarteum to receive the Award of Excellence, given from the Austrian Ministry of Science, Research and Economy to the best 50 graduates (over more than 16.000) of all Austrian universities. A one page newspaper article about her victory of the Award was published on the main Italian newspaper, "Corriere della sera", on November 11, 2016.
Chiara Esposito is the founder of "International Music Academy Enharmonia". This academy has the aim of helping young pianists in their careers by organizing events such as top level piano masterclasses, concerts and a competition.
